As a Test Manager at HMGCC, I get to work on a wide range of exciting software developments, using a really diverse and stimulating array of technologies. I'm involved in the entire development lifecycle and get to bring my whole range of testing skills to bear on projects, which can range in length from just a few hours to several years. Whether it's coordinating test strategies, organising test automation or simply getting stuck in with test execution, the work is immensely rewarding, especially when national security is at stake.
I work alongside enthusiastic and dedicated development teams and feel like a critical cog in the development process. It's a great culture to build my career in, not least because of the great opportunities for training and specialisation. I've got the chance to get involved not just in testing but in blue-sky research work too.
