Meet our people

Jada - Software developer
I work in a protective monitoring team, monitoring data streams. I look at Jira tickets, talk to customers about bugs found and I work with frontend design/prototyping tools. Most of what I do needs to be secret, so I can’t fully explain how exciting and rewarding my job actually is, but it really is!

Mae - Business relationship manager
I started in project management at HMGCC and now I work on building trust and engagement with industry and academia, supporting initiatives to pull through new technology and ideas to HMGCC. I love meeting and collaborating with people and doing my bit for our mission in a corporate role.

Lara - PCB engineer
I work in a small team but as R&D lead I look after and solve the problems and quirky things that occur. I look into new materials, technology, email scientists from around the world, travel to meet industry experts and play with chemistry when I get back.

Dan - Software engineer
I discovered HMGCC via the CyberFirst summer internship. After university I joined as a software engineer. I've had so many opportunities including overseas training and conferences. One thing that brings me to work every day is hearing about the impact of the work I have directly contributed to.

Rach - Textiles specialist
I work in Textiles, supporting teams around the world. The creative, inclusive environment within my diverse team allows me to tackle challenging and sometimes very strange tasks, building my knowledge of unique processes and techniques. I love my role, you never know what the day will bring!

Richard - Forensic specialist
As a scientist, HMGCC gives me the opportunity to express myself and be creative. HMGCC is great at supporting my work and provides me with the latest cutting edge systems and tools to perform my research.
